Hey friends and family!

Thank you for praying for Margarita!

I’m excited to share some of GOD´s answers to our prayers, and I also want to ask you to keep praying for current needs.

– GOD brought us a Christian Occupational Therapist who was impacted by Margarita´s life and La Fuente´s involvement with her.  He did not charge us for his initial evaluation and offered to start therapy as soon as possible.

– GOD brought us also a Physical Therapist who happens to be the wife of the Occupational Therapist! About three weeks ago we started both therapies. The LORD impressed on their hearts that they should only charge half of what they normally charge. Margarita has been so encouraged by the strength in her upper body as well as with practical techniques to handle herself around her new apartment!
– Now we have volunteers from the church for every day of the week to help Margarita get out and about!  These volunteers have helped to provide with instruments/tools that help her with her daily activities.
– The LORD has faithfully provided funds for all these needs and we have been able to cover the first weeks of therapy. There is still a need for funds to continue therapy.
Through therapy she started to have sensation in her legs. She says that she hasn´t been able to move her toes for many years, but in the last session she was able to slightly move her right leg toes. This compelled her to share with me something extremely deep and important for her. From her heart and with plenty of tears (tears of joy) she told me that she wants me to pray and wants to ask the whole church to specifically pray for the hope of walking again someday.

When she shared this with me,  I honestly struggled with having the same faith that she has, but I felt led to believe with her that our FATHER might want to give us what we ask for. Therefore, I would like encourage you to join us in this prayer of faith.  – “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!¨ – Matthew 7:7-15

Even though I understand the FATHER´s could be something different for her, I am compelled to start this prayer chain with you. Thanks for being part of Margarita´s plea.
